The real estate project \u201cDeglava Gleznot\u0101ju rezidence\u201d in Riga, P\u013cavnieku neighbourhood, has received high recognition as one of the most energy-efficient newly built apartment buildings in Latvia. In the competition \u201cThe Most Energy Efficient Building in Latvia 2024\u201d, in the nomination \u201cThe Most Energy Efficient Apartment Building in Latvia 2024. New Construction\u201d we have received the honourable 2nd place, it has been evaluated as the best in terms of energy efficiency in Riga. This aspect is important for buyers who are increasingly exchanging old Soviet-era apartments for modern, energy-efficient housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One comparative example of high energy efficiency is that in January this year, heating costs in the Deglava Painters\u201c Residence were just \u20ac30 for a two-room apartment - 2-3 times less than in the old Soviet-era buildings, where heating costs are much higher in the winter months. This is one of the reasons why this project is so sought-after, as buyers appreciate not only the modern amenities, but also the possibility to control property management costs in the long term and reduce energy consumption on the bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition \u201cThe Most Energy Efficient Building in Latvia 2024\u201d was organised by the Ministry of Economics in cooperation with the Ministry of Climate and Energy and the Latvian Association of Civil Engineers as part of the information campaign \u201cLive Warmer\u201d. As part of the competition, the jury carried out surveys at the sites to verify the energy efficiency criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Construction of the second phase of the project is currently underway and the new owners are expected to receive the keys to their apartments at the end of this year. The project is being developed by international real estate company Electra, while construction work is being carried out by Monum Ltd. The sale of apartments in the project is carried out in 3 phases.
